Allegri believes he is not the problem at Juventus

Massimiliano Allegri believes that he is not part of the problem at Juventus following their current poor form.

The Bianconeri’s disappointing results in recent matches – including their midweek UCL loss against Benfica triggered more criticism. Following their defeat against PSG in their first Champions League, they were keen to get a win on Wednesday.

However, instead of winning, Juventus saw themselves picking up another 2-1 loss in Europe. That defeat put the Old Lady under plenty of criticism, especially for their coach, Massimiliano Allegri.

Several Juve fans on social media are expressing their disappointment with the tactician, claiming that he’s part of the team’s current problem.

However, Allegri refused to consider himself part of the current issue with the Bianconeri. Speaking in his press conference after the Benfica match, the coach considers himself the potential solution for Juve.

Allegri seemed to indicate that he has no plan to part ways with the Bianconeri anytime soon.

“I feel part of the solution, I must find a solution,” Allegri said at the press conference(via Football Italia).

“When I returned, I thought it would take time to build. Unfortunately, I didn’t think we could lose two games in a row.”

“The important thing is to do well and remain in the Champions League. These defeats are annoying, but it’s useless to talk too much now.”
