At his press-conference earlier, Juventus boss Massimo Allegri explained that he would once again be without captain Leonardo Bonucci.
“Leonardo has had a relapse of his previous injury and will not be available” Allegri explained.
When asked about the rest of the squad he replied;
“Szczesny has his green pass and will play and Pellegrini is also available. Danilo is still not ready.
“I’ll select one between Bernardeschi and Kulusevski to replace Chiesa and although Chiellini has come back early, I will pick Rugani to play alongside De Ligt”.
The coach was also asked to give his opinion on events after Wednesday’s defeat to Inter in the Supercup, which saw Bonucci have an altercation with an Inter official.
“Leo has paid his fine” he remarked, “After a match there is always tension.
“I believe that Juventus always treats officials with respect”.
The incident, involving Bonucci and Inter secretary Cristiano Mozzollo went viral with the Italian international receiving a €10.000 fine.
