Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri has played down rumors claiming that his team are pushing to sign Leandro Paredes from PSG.
The Bianconeri continue to work on improving their squad this summer despite already making some important moves. So far this summer, Juventus already managed to snatch Angel Di Maria, Paul Pogba and Gleison Bremer.
However, the injury to Paul Pogba could very well change their market strategy as they might push to sign another midfielder. Multiple reports suggest that the player Juve will be targeting is PSG’s outcast, Leandro Paredes.
Allegri reportedly is very keen on Paredes as the Argentinian can fill the regista role that the coach has been looking for since last season. Although the tactician admits that his squad is far from complete, he plays down rumors linking them with the PSG midfielder.
Allegri believes that Juve still need more players but argues that Paredes might not be one of them.
“Paredes? We have Locatelli, Rovella, many good players. I am happy like this,” Allegri told Sky Sport Italia(via Football Italia).
