Massimiliano Allegri is not losing hope of having Fabio Miretti available for Juventus’ weekend clash against Bologna.
The Italian Under-21s midfielder has been one of the Bianconeri’s bright sparks since Allegri’s return to the club. After some cameo performances last season, Miretti is finally getting more regular playing time this season.
So far he has been mostly available for selection but things could change this weekend as Juve face Bologna.
Miretti picked up an ankle injury during international duty with the Azzurri Under-21s squad. Although reports reveal that his injury is not too serious, the player might still be out for the Sunday clash.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia(via Juventusnews24), Allegri remains hopeful of having Miretti available against Bologna. The midfielder was still training separately on Wednesday, so there’s still a possibility that he could make it on Sunday.
Even if Miretti won’t be fit enough to start, Allegri will be happy if the midfielder can at least come off the bench this weekend.
