Allegri returns with 4-3-3 formation for Juventus against Monza

Massimiliano Allegri will reportedly use a 4-3-3 formation for Juventus in their upcoming Serie A clash against Monza.

The tactician has been using several formations this season but seems to fancy the 3-5-2 setup for his current squad. Allegri is keen on playing both Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik together upfront and the 3-5-2 formation seems to work best for them.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport(via TuttoJuve), the coach won’t be using the three-man defense setup this weekend. Allegri will reportedly return to use the 4-3-3 formation instead for their clash against Monza.

This decision is pretty much made because of the absentees, notably Milik and Juan Cuadrado. Both of them are out this weekend due to suspension following the sending-offs they got against Salernitana last week.

Without Milik’s upfront, Allegri is unlikely going to use two center-forwards and prefer Vlahovic as a lone striker. However, he will be getting help from two wide attackers in Angel Di Maria and Filip Kostic.
