Massimiliano Allegri: Milan Will Be More Dangerous After Chelsea Defeat
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri believes that AC Milan will pose an even greater threat on Sunday as they look to recover from their recent loss to Chelsea in the Champions League.
The Bianconeri enter the weekend in high spirits following back-to-back victories. Before the international break, they secured a 3-0 win against Bologna in Serie A and followed it with a solid performance to defeat Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League.
Allegri’s side now turns their attention to defending Serie A champions Milan, who are hosting the match at San Siro. Despite their recent setback in London, where they suffered a disappointing defeat to Chelsea, Milan remains a formidable opponent. Adding to their challenges, the Rossoneri are dealing with a series of injuries that have sidelined key players.
However, Allegri is cautious, warning his squad that Milan’s desire to bounce back could make them even more dangerous. Juventus will also need to overcome their poor away record this season, as they are yet to secure a victory on the road.
Allegri’s thoughts ahead of the clash:
“We face the champions of Italy, and it’s going to be more difficult than usual,” Allegri stated during his pre-match press conference (via Football Italia).
“They’re coming off a tough defeat in London, so they’ll be looking for revenge tomorrow,” he added.
“It will be a great game, and all the conditions are there for us to perform well. We haven’t won away from home yet this season, so hopefully, tomorrow will be the first time. We are ready to play.”
As Juventus prepares for this crucial Serie A fixture, fans will be eager to see if Allegri’s men can maintain their momentum and rise to the challenge at San Siro.
