Juventus reportedly proposed Moise Kean to Atalanta in a swap deal for Luis Muriel but that offer was rejected.
The Bianconeri are still working to improve their attacking department as they are in search of a new striker this summer. Juventus are eyeing someone who can act both as a backup or partner for Dusan Vlahovic next season.
One of their preferred target to fill that attacking role is Atalanta’s forward, Luis Muriel. Juve consider the 31-year-old as the right fit for what they are looking for but negotiation with La Dea are not easy.
Atalanta are only willing to sell the Colombian international for a fee of €15m and won’t consider other options. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport(via ilbianconero.com), Juve initially proposed a swap between Muriel and Kean but La Dea rejected it.
The Bianconeri’s offer was only a loan swap and not a permanent deal, so that’s probably why Atalanta are not considering it.
Juve might need to find another solution for signing Muriel, especially if they are not keen on paying La Dea’s asking price.
