Bonucci to leave Juventus in 2024?

Leonardo Bonucci might not end his career and Turin and leave Juventus once his contract ends in 2024.

The veteran defender remains an important piece for the Bianconeri’s defense under Massimiliano Allegri’s second stint. Despite a recent troublesome relationship between the defender and the coach, it’s unlikely that Bonucci won’t get regular playing time this season.

However, there are some questions regarding the player’s chance of ending his career in Turin. Bonucci’s current deal won’t expire until 2024 but there’s a chance that he won’t continue after that deal ends.

As reported by Tuttosport(via ilbianconero.com), there’s still no clarity on whether Bonucci will be able to extend his contract.

He will be a 37-year-old in 2024 and Juve might prefer to see him following Giorgio Chiellini’s footsteps instead of staying.

Moreover, despite spending more than 10 years with Juventus, some of the Ultras group doesn’t seem to respect him too much.

The Juve ultras recently criticize Bonucci’s action after the Bianconeri’s disappointing 1-0 loss to Monza last weekend. The skipper was seen taking his teammate to a section of Juve’s fans at the Brianteo Stadium.
