Antonio Conte reportedly opens the door for a return to Juventus but only after his contract with Tottenham Hotspur end next summer.
The tactician’s future is suddenly up in the air following rumors of the Bianconeri’s plan to bring him back. Multiple reports claim that Juve’s vice-president, Pavel Nedved is working to sign Conte again in place of Massimiliano Allegri.
The Old Lady’s current struggle in terms of results and performance has put Allegri’s future in jeopardy. There’s a lack of belief that the tactician can turn things around this season.
If Juventus do part ways with Allegri, signing a proven winner like Conte is certainly a sensible move. According to the Daily Mail(via Juventusnews24), the former Inter boss would be open to a return to Turin.
However, he will only consider it once his current contract with Tottenham Hotspur expire at the end of this season. So far, there’s been no talks or agreement for renewal, so the chance of Conte leaving next season is very possible.
Nevertheless, the ex-Italian national team coach must fix his relationship with Juve’s president, Andrea Agnelli. The patron was reportedly not happy with Conte’s decision to leave the Bianconeri back in 2014.
