Di Maria not closing the door on Juventus stay just yet

Angel Di Maria is not closing the door yet on potentially staying at Juventus after this season, though his main plan is still to return to Argentina.

The versatile winger joined the Bianconeri this summer on a free transfer as PSG decided not to renew his contract. Unfortunately, Di Maria hasn’t had the best of start with Juventus so far this season.

The Argentinian international only managed to show flashes of his brilliance as he has been struggling with injuries. The player is also facing disciplinary issues as he will miss Juve’s next two games due to suspension.

Di Maria picked up a red card in Juventus’ Serie A defeat against Monza, which means he will be absent against Bologna and Milan.

Although things haven’t been great for Juve, that doesn’t seem to affect the Argentinian’s future plan. As reported by Tuttosport(via Juventusnews24), Di Maria’s idea is still to leave the club and return to Argentina.

However, he is yet to close the door on a potential extension, especially if Leandro Paredes also stays in Turin.

If Juve can improve their form and finish the season well, Di Maria might reconsider his plan and stay at the club.
