Di Maria not closing the door on Juventus stay just yet

Angel Di Maria has not completely ruled out staying at Juventus beyond this season, although his primary plan remains to return to Argentina.

The Argentine winger joined the Bianconeri this summer on a free transfer after Paris Saint-Germain opted not to renew his contract. However, his time in Turin has had a rocky start, with injuries and disciplinary issues hindering his impact.

Di Maria has shown glimpses of his brilliance but has struggled to maintain consistent form due to recurring injuries. His disciplinary problems have also made headlines, with the Argentine set to miss Juventus’ next two matches against Bologna and AC Milan after receiving a red card in their Serie A defeat to Monza.

Despite these setbacks, Di Maria’s long-term plans appear unaffected. According to Tuttosport (via Juventusnews24), the winger still envisions a return to Argentina at the end of the season. Yet, he has not entirely closed the door on an extended stay in Turin, particularly if compatriot Leandro Paredes remains at the club.

If Juventus can recover their form and finish the season on a high note, Di Maria may reconsider his initial plan and decide to continue with the Italian giants.
