According to Romeo Agresti, there is « growing optimism » about Paulo Dybala’s return to action against Roma.
The Argentine star has been recovering from a muscle injury sustained during the match against Sampdoria two weeks ago. He missed Juventus’ games against Chelsea and Torino but could make his comeback after the international break.
As reported by Goal.com correspondent Romeo Agresti, Dybala is expected to be available for Juventus’ clash with Roma at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, October 17.
Dybala is currently Juventus’ top scorer this season, tied with Alvaro Morata. However, Morata also suffered a muscle injury in the Sampdoria game, and it remains uncertain whether he will be fit to play against the Giallorossi after the break.
In addition to this positive news, Dybala has reportedly reached an agreement with Juventus on a new contract. According to multiple reports in Italy, the Argentine will sign a three-year extension worth €10 million per year, including bonuses. His current contract is set to expire in the summer, but he is expected to commit his future to the Bianconeri soon.
Sky Sport Italia also reports that Dybala has resumed training with the squad, increasing the likelihood that he will be available for the Roma match.
