Fiorentina director Joe Barone give hope to Juventus in their race for Vlahovic, admitting that La Viola is open to selling the 21-year-old in January.
Vlahovic doesn’t want to sign a contract extension with the Tuscans. His current deal expires in June 2023 and the Tuscans are pushing to sell him in January.
“Some English clubs have made contact, but there is no agreement yet. We are open [to selling],” Barone told La Nazione (via Football Italia).
Barone urged the striker to sign a new deal with the club or leave, but hasn’t heard anything from the player’s entourage.
“I haven’t heard anything from them, I had asked Vlahovic’s agent to be clear, but I haven’t heard anything, no contacts at all,” he revealed.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have placed an opening bid to sign Vlahovic in January, offering €35m plus Dejan Kulusevski.
Arsenal and Tottenham are still interested in the 21-year-old.
