Juventus continue to look for Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement and will target Dusan Vlahovic with Julian Alvarez as the main alternative.
Ronaldo’s decision to leave Turin last summer left some problems with Juve’s attacking department. From Alvaro Morata and Moise Kean’s inconsistent performances to Paulo Dybala’s physical issues, all contributed to the Bianconeri’s lack of sharpness this season.
Naturally, losing a superstar who scored 102 goals in three seasons will affect any teams including juve. That’s why they are keen on getting a new top striker to bolster their attacking department.
According to Calciomercato.com, their main target is still Fiorentina star, Dusan Vlahovic whose contract will end in June 2023. Juve will try to take the player immediately in the January transfer window as they prepare €50m for his signature.
However, it won’t be an easy task as Fiorentina are asking for at least €75m for their star striker. The Bianconeri will be hoping to convince Vlahovic in choosing them instead of other offers.
Should Massimiliano Allegri’s side fail to sign the Serbian, they will immediately push for River Plate’s Julian Alvarez. The Argentinian is also attracting many interest and won’t be an easy target as well for Juventus.
