How many games can Di Maria miss for Juventus?

Angel Di Maria is in danger of missing up to three league games for Juventus but the club hope that he will only miss two outings.

The Argentinian international saw red during the Bianconeri’s disappointing 1-0 defeat against Monza last weekend. Di Maria received a straight red after he was seen elbowing the opponent’s player, Armando Izzo.

Judging by the rules, the ex-PSG man will definitely be out for three games but there’s a danger of him getting a three games suspension. According to the rules, Di Maria’s action was considered violent conduct that can be punished for up to three games or even more.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport(via ilbianconero.com), the sporting judge’s decision will arrive this Tuesday. Juve are now hoping that Di Maria won’t be absent for too long but it’s almost sure that he will be out for two games.

At the moment, the matches that the winger could miss are against Bologna and Milan, early next month. Juventus are hoping that the winger will be able to return for their derby clash against Torino.
