Italian media consider Dusan Vlahovic to be Juventus’ worst performer in their UCL defeat against Benfica on Wednesday.
The Bianconeri suffered another defeat in their UCL campaign as the Portuguese outfit edged them 2-1 at Allianz Stadium. Juve actually started the game well with an early goal from Arkadiusz Milik, but couldn’t maintain the momentum.
Benfica grew into the game and eventually turned things around with goals from Joao Mario and David Neres. Overall, it was another disappointing performance from Massimiliano Allegri’s men.
Although most of the players didn’t do well, but major Italian media outlets – La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tuttosport, and Corriere dello Sport agree that Juve’s worst player was Vlahovic.
Both GDS and Tuttosport gave the Serbian international a 4/10 rating while CdS put on a slightly better rating at 4.5/10.
Nevertheless, those three media think that Vlahovic was unable to give any sort of impact on Juve’s performance.
As for the better performers, the Italian media picked Mattia Perin and followed by Arek Milik.
Tutto rated Perin a 7/10 while both GDS and CdS gave him a rating of 6.5/10 for his fine display. Meanwhile, as for Milik, Tuttosport consider his performance worthy of a 6/10 whereas CdS and Gazzetta rated him at a 6.5/10.
