Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport was even more critical, giving Allegri a rating of 4. The publication argued that he failed to select the right formation and reacted too slowly with his substitutions.
Allegri still has time to turn things around, but urgency is key. The coach has an opportunity to regain momentum this week with a Champions League victory over FC Zenit.
