The Italian press is abuzz today with rumours circulating around Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, who looks set to leave the Nerazzurri this summer.
Premier League club Chelsea have emerged in the past day as frontrunners for his signature, with his contract expiring at the end of the season and Inter hesitant to renew it.
For Chelsea fans, Sportmediaset offer the most hope currently – writing that the winger has agreed personal terms with the West London club. However, the other sources in Italy are a lot less confident in the deal.
Both Gazzetta and Tuttosport imply that Chelsea are nowhere near an agreement for Perisic but have conflicting views about his future. The former claim that the Croatian has his heart set on leaving the club whilst the latter indicates there is still a strong line of belief in a contract renewal with the Nerazzurri.
Finally, Gazzetta maintain that Juventus remain interested in the player, whilst sources to the club reportedly deny all interest from their side.
