Juventus and Liverpool are reportedly monitoring the contract situation of Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount whose current deal will expire in 2024.
Mount has been one of the Blues’ most important players in the last couple of seasons due to his fine technique and goal-scoring abilities. The England international continue to be part of Chelsea’s first-team squad despite recent coaching changes from Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel, and currently Graham Potter.
Mount’s qualities are highly appreciated by many top European clubs, including Juventus who are still eyeing a new midfielder. According to the Guardian(via ilbianconero.com), the Old Lady are currently monitoring the midfielder’s situation with Liverpool.
Both teams are waiting to see what the future holds for Mount whose current deal will expire in 2024. Chelsea are already offering to extend his deal and they are optimistic with their proposal.
However, should things go south, Juventus are ready to battle Liverpool for a shot at snatching Mount from Stamford Bridge.
