Juventus defender Daniele Rugani will reportedly reject a move to Galatasaray and prefer joining Sampdoria this summer.
Rugani’s future in Turin seems to be nearing its end as the Bianconeri are ready to sell him this summer. The Bianconeri’s youth product has been struggling to get any playing time.
Despite being considered reliable by Massimiliano Allegri, last season Rugani only made 18 appearances across all competitions. The defender is unlikely get more chances next season so a move away might be the best solution for him.
Although the 28-year-old struggled to get game time, he is still attracting plenty of suitors. Turkish club, Galatasaray were reportedly keen on signing him and are prepared to meet Juve’s demand.
However, according to La Repubblica(via ilbianconero.com), Okan Buruk’s side attempt to get the player might be fruitless. Rugani apparently is not keen on moving abroad and would rather stay in Italy.
For that reason, Sampdoria are currently the favorite to sign him, potentially on loan as they are only prepared to pay half of his salary. Rugani will have to wait though as La Samp can only make their attempt after selling one of their defender first.
