Juventus winger Bernardeschi makes contract request to Napoli

Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi is reportedly asking for a five-year deal worth €3.5m to join Napoli.

The versatile winger will follow Paulo Dybala’s footsteps of leaving Turin on a free transfer next summer. Bernardeschi can’t reach an agreement with Juve regarding contract renewal.

The Old Lady will only consider renewing the Italian international’s deal if he would take a pay cut. However, it looks like the ex-Fiorentina star didn’t agree with what Juve were proposing.

Bernardeschi is yet to make a decision regarding his future but he could potentially join Napoli next season. The Partenopei are keen on signing him and the player would be open to playing for them.

However, according to Corriere dello Sport(via TuttoJuve), Bernardeschi has some requests for Napoli, who would have to meet the wage demands.

The versatile winger reportedly is asking for a five-year contract worth €3.5m per season to join Luciano Spalletti’s side.

Bernardeschi signed with Juventus from Fiorentina back in 2014 and has struggled to cement his place in the starting lineup. The winger has made 183 appearances for the Turin giant, grabbing 12 goals and 24 assists in the process.
