Juventus changed travel plan after Coppa Italia loss

Juventus decided to return home early from their initial plan after suffering a disappointing loss in the Coppa Italia final.

The Bianconeri’s failure to defend their Coppa title this season seems to have created an unpleasant situation at the club. Soon after their defeat, there was a tense meeting between the club’s executives.

According to La Gazzeta dello Sport(via Football Italia), that meeting also triggered an argument between Pavel Nedved and Andrea Agnelli. Aside from the argument, the loss also made the players and staff change their plans.

After returning to the hotel, the players and staff decided to immediately return home to Turin. That was different from their initial plan of returning back on Thursday morning as they have two days off.

Some players, such as Paulo Dybala, Weston McKennie, Alvaro Morata, Juan Cuadrado, and Arthur also made a change in their plans. They were set to attend the Internazionali d’Italia in Rome, a day after the Coppa final.

However, that plan seems to also change as the club opt to return immediately to Turin.
