Juventus don’t give up on Morata

Juventus will still make another attempt to sign Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid later in the summer transfer window.

Juventus confirmed Morata’s exit on Thursday, but still hope to sign him permanently later this summer. For now, the Spaniard will return to Atletico as his two-year loan deal has expired.

Juve had an option to sign him for €35m but they refused to trigger it as they considered the price too expensive. Los Rojiblancos were not willing to lower their demand and rejected several offers from the Continassa.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport(via TuttoJuve), Juve are not giving up and still hope to sign the Spaniard.

Juventus directors are not in a hurry though as there’s still a major gap between Atletico’s demand and their offer. Juve’s plan is to wait and see Morata’s price tag decrease as they know the striker is not part of Diego Simeone’s plans.

If Atletico Madrid don’t receive better offers for Morata, they may decide to sit down again with Juventus and negotiate a lower fee.
