Juventus are reportedly close to extending Danilo’s contract until 2025 after positive talks with his entourage recently.
The Brazilian defender joined the Bianconeri back in 2019 from Manchester City for €37. That deal also saw Joao Cancelo moving the other way as a part-exchange agreement between both teams.
Despite difficulties early on, Danilo eventually becomes an important player and one of the club’s leaders. The Brazilian’s versatility is one of the main reasons why Massimiliano Allegri highly values him.
Juventus understand the importance of Danilo for the team and is eager to keep him around longer than his current deal which will expire in 2024.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport(via TuttoJuve), talks regarding the defender’s renewal have started. Juventus have reportedly held an interlocutory meeting with Danilo’s entourage to express their wish of extending the player’s stay.
The Old Lady’s plan is to extend Danilo’s stay until 2025 with similar wages to what he’s currently earning.
