Juventus news: Alex Sandro loses his starting spot to Pellegrini?

Juventus Brazilian left-back, Alex Sandro could potentially lose his starting post for the remainder of this season to Luca Pellegrini.

The former Porto man has shown signs of a drop in performance since last season mostly due to his injury problems. Despite starting the season in e better shape, but his performance hasn’t been that much better.

Because of his unconvincing performances, especially in Juve’s defeat from Chelsea in the Champions League, Alex Sandro’s future is in jeopardy. The club are currently monitoring his progress and could consider selling him next summer.

However, for the remainder of this season, he might also lose his place in Juve’s starting lineups. As reported by Juventusnews24, Allegri could decide to play Pellegrini instead to cover that left-back role.

The Bianconeri can also play Mattia De Sciglio in that position once the former Milan man recovers from his injury.

Danilo joined Juventus from Porto in 2015 and since then has made 248 competitive appearances for the Old Lady.
