Juventus senior defender, Leonardo Bonucci won’t be available for selection at least until next month.
The Italian international didn’t get any minutes in his team’s Supercoppa Italiana defeat against Inter last midweek. Unfortunately, that doesn’t stop him from picking up another physical problem.
Following confirmation from Massimiliano Allegri, Bonucci apparently suffered another relapse on his previous injury. The 33-year-old won’t be available for his team’s weekend clash against Udinese this Saturday.
However, according to Tuttosport that won’t be the only match that Bonucci will miss this month. Considering the nature of his injury, it’s unlikely that he will be able to play any matches this January.
The likeliest return date for Bonucci, for now, would be on February 6 after the international break. Juve will meet Hellas Verona on that date, one of the teams that beat them during the first half of this season.
