Juventus have no concerns regarding Dusan Vlahovic, despite the striker still struggling to find his best form during preseason.
The Serbian international had a disrupted preparation for the new season as he was recovering from an injury. Although he returned to preseason training relatively early, he has yet to regain his peak condition.
The 22-year-old missed Juve’s first two friendly matches in the United States against Chivas Guadalajara and Barcelona, only making his debut in the game against Real Madrid.
Juventus are focused on getting him ready for their Serie A opener against Sassuolo on Monday, August 15. However, according to Il Corriere dello Sport (via Juventusnews24), Vlahovic’s progress has been slower than expected.
His preseason performances indicate that he is still working to regain his sharpness. Nonetheless, Juventus’ coaching staff remain confident in Vlahovic’s preparation.
The club is optimistic that the Serbian striker will be fully ready to deliver when the new season kicks off.
