Could Cristiano Ronaldo return to Juventus this summer?

Juventus have been offered a chance to re-sign their former striker Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

The Portuguese had initially joined the Bianconeri back in 2018 and had spent three seasons at the club under three different managers before leaving to join Manchester United once again late in the summer transfer window of 2021.

Sport in Spain (via TuttoJuve) have claimed that there is some possibility of Ronaldo potentially returning to Juve this summer. Jorge Mendes is said to have offered his client back to the Bianconeri this summer, as they seek as an escape route from Old Trafford.

It is stated that the possibility of a return can’t be discarded right now, even if the striker would have to significantly reduce his wage demands.

In the 2021/22 season for United, Ronaldo did score 18 Premier League goals but could not make any other tangible impact, as the club finished sixth in the league table.
