Juventus have finalized an agreement with Palermo for the transfer of Matteo Brunori during the summer window.
Brunori spent last season on loan with the Rosanero, playing a pivotal role in their promotion to Serie B. The 27-year-old striker was a standout performer, scoring an impressive 29 goals in 45 appearances.
His exceptional form drew interest from several Italian clubs, but Palermo were determined to retain their star player. Juventus had no objections to selling Brunori, as he was not part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans for the upcoming season.
The transfer was delayed for weeks due to disagreements over the fee, but according to Calciomercato.com (via ilbianconero.com), the issue has now been resolved. Juventus agreed to sell Brunori for €3 million, a figure lower than their initial €5 million asking price.
Palermo reportedly had no difficulties negotiating personal terms with the striker, as staying with the club has been his top priority. Brunori is expected to sign a permanent contract with Palermo, tying him to the club until June 2026.
