Juventus are reportedly serious in their plan to sign Empoli goalkeeper, Guglielmo Vicario amid interest from Roma and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Bianconeri continue to make plans in improving their squad by targeting new players either in January or next summer. One of the players that Juve are keen on signing is Empoli’s star keeper, Guglielmo Vicario.
Although the Old Lady still have Wojciech Szczesny in their books, the Bianconeri is convinced by Vicario’s talent. They believe that the Empoli keeper could be the future replacement for Szczesny.
However, competition for his signature will quite tough with Roma and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen. The interest from those teams seem to trigger Juve into potentially making an early for Vicario.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport(via Football Italia), the Bianconeri are planning to sign him immediately in January. They won’t use him right away though but with let him stay with Empoli until next summer.
Juventus are hoping that by signing him earlier, they can catch both Tottenham and Roma off guard in the race for Vicario.
