Juventus to discuss Morata’s future with Atletico Madrid in Tel Aviv

Juventus director Federico Cherubini is set to meet with Atletico Madrid’s management to discuss the potential transfer of Alvaro Morata.

The Bianconeri remain determined to bring Morata back for the upcoming season. The Spanish striker returned to Atletico Madrid this summer after his two-year loan spell in Turin came to an end.

Juventus initially had the option to purchase Morata permanently for €35 million but declined to activate it, considering Atletico’s asking price too high. Instead, Juve are willing to pay €15 million, a figure Atletico have so far refused to accept.

Negotiations have been challenging, but Juventus are preparing to make another attempt. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Juventusnews24), Cherubini will meet Atletico’s management during their friendly match in Tel Aviv next Sunday.

This meeting could prove decisive for Juventus to determine whether a deal for Morata is feasible.

Should Atletico reject Juve’s proposal again, the Bianconeri are prepared to explore alternatives. Other forwards being considered include Luis Muriel, Anthony Martial, and Memphis Depay.
