Juventus versatile winger, Juan Cuadrado turns 34 today and the club sent him birthday wishes on social media.
The Colombian international was born on May 26, 1988, in Necocli, Colombia. He joined Juventus on a two-year loan deal from Chelsea in 2015 before making his permanent move in 2017. Despite his age, Cuadrado remains an important figure for Massimiliano Allegri’s side this season.
The club recently activated a clause to extend his contract, confirming that he will stay until 2023.
Juventus celebrated his birthday on social media and their official website.
“Winding down, getting away from it all, that’s how Juan Cuadrado will be spending his 34th birthday,” Juve’s official statement read.
“In the season just concluded, Juan made 45 appearances, matching his record number of games in a single campaign – perhaps numbers to be expected from a player as comfortable playing full-back as he is midfielder or winger.”
