Milan join race to sign Juventus target Marcus Thuram

Milan are reportedly joining the race to sign Borussia Monchengladbach’s striker Marcus Thuram amid interest from Juventus.

The French international has been showing consistent performances in his last couple of seasons with Gladbach. Thuram’s excellent showings have triggered interest from several top European clubs including Juventus.

The Bianconeri consider the French international an opportunity that they shouldn’t miss out on. Aside from his quality, the striker’s contract situation also makes him an exciting target on the market.

Thuram’s current deal with Gladbach will expire in June 2023 and so far there’s been no agreement for an extension. However, according to Sky Sport Italia(via TuttoJuve), competition for the attacker’s signature is getting tougher.

Aside from Inter and Bayern, Milan have now joined the race for signing the France international next season. The Rossoneri are also keen on grabbing Thuram, especially for next summer when he is available for free.

Considering the ages of Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Rossoneri believe Thuram could be the right profile for the club.
