Newly promoted side Monza have joined the race to sign former Juventus star Paulo Dybala as a free agent.
Dybala’s contract at the Allianz Stadium expired on June 30 but despite being available for free, he has yet to reach an agreement with a new club.
There are several clubs reportedly keen on him, notably the two Milan clubs. However, they’re not the only side in Italy that is targeting Dybala as a new suitor has emerged.
According to Sky Sport’s Gianluca Di Marzio(via Football Italia), the newly-promoted side, Monza have also joined the race for the Argentinian.
The Biancorossi’s director Adriano Galliani started contact with Dybala’s agent on Friday. There is still no offer on the table, but Dybala’s entourage is now aware of their interest.
Aside from Dybala, Monza dream of signing another Argentina striker, Mauro Icardi. The ex-Inter man is a long-time Juventus target, but talks between the Old Lady and PSG have mot begun.
