Napoli accelerate move for Juventus target Raspadori

Napoli are reportedly working to close the deal on Sassuolo star, Giacomo Raspadori either on Sunday or Monday amid interest from Juventus.

The Italian international still has a contract until 2024 with the Neroverdi but he is keen on leaving this summer. Raspadori reportedly has handed a transfer request, hoping that the club won’t stop him from moving.

Several clubs are keen on his signature – including Juventus, who consider him as one of their targets this summer. However, it looks like the Bianconeri might be losing out on the Italian international.

As reported by transfer guru, Alfredo Pedulla(via Juventusnews24), it’s Napoli that are in pole position for Raspadori.

The Old Lady did meet with the striker’s agent on Wednesday but they are yet to talk with Sassuolo. The Partenopei already had discussions with both Raspadori’s entourage and the Neroverdi’s director.

This situation gives Napoli the edge and confidence that they can close the deal as soon as possible. The Partenopei are hoping that they can wrap up Raspadori either by Sunday or Monday.
