Napoli have made an inquiry for Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi who is close to leaving the club.
Bernardeschi will see his current deal in Turin expire next summer and there’s been no agreement on renewal. The Bianconeri will only keep him if he agrees to take a pay cut but the player is not keen.
Unless there’s another twist, Bernardeschi seems set to follow the footsteps of Paulo Dybala and Giorgio Chiellini. The versatile winger hasn’t made any decision regarding his future but he is not short of suitors.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via ilbianconero.com), Napoli have made an inquiry about Bernardeschi. The Partenopei are keen on signing the Italian international but his wages might become an issue.
Bernardeschi is currently earning around €4m per season in Turin and it doesn’t seem he wants to reduce his salary.
Nevertheless, if Napoli are serious, they could be an appealing destination for the winger.
