There was a disagreement between Juventus chiefs, Andrea Agnelli and Pavel Nedved regarding the future of Massimiliano Allegri at the club.
The Old Lady’s 1-0 defeat from Monza on Sunday puts the tactician’s future under enormous pressure. Many fans and former players are even asking for Juve to sack Allegri as soon as possible.
Nevertheless, there’s still some support coming for the coach, believing that injuries are the club’s main problem. Disagreement regarding Allegri’s also happens from inside the Bianconeri’s management.
As reported by Corriere della Sera (via Football Italia), during a meeting on Friday, there was a disagreement regarding the coach’s future. Juve’s vice-president, Pavel Nedved suggested that Allegri should be replaced but it was denied by the president, Andrea Agnelli.
Agnelli eventually went on to call the coach and ensure that his future in Turin is safe for now. Nedved’s rejection of Allegri is nothing new as he was reportedly the one who proposed the idea of replacing him with Maurizio Sarri.
