Nedved confronted Agnelli following Juve’s Coppa Italia loss

Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved had an argument with club president Andrea Agnelli after their defeat in Coppa Italia.

The Bianconeri failed to end their season with any trophy following a disappointing 4-2 loss against Inter on Wednesday. That defeat brought plenty of disappointment for Juve, including for their executives.

The club’s vice president, Nedved was reportedly angry with their failure to win the Coppa. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport(via Football Italia), the former winger confronted and argued with President, Agnelli.

The vice president didn’t just meet with his club president but also with Federico Cherubini and Maurizio Arrivabene. The meeting between those club executives was tense and full of emotion.

Nedved apparently puts the blame on Juve’s defeat on the coach, Massimiliano Allegri, and the attitude of some players. The ex-player was never been a fan of Allegri while Agnelli is the coach’s number one supporter.

Aside from having an argument with the president, Nedved also met with the tactician and some players to vent his anger.

Despite the confrontation, it’s unlikely that Juve will sack Allegri as they already planning their future with him at the helm.
