Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved visited the club’s dressing room and slammed the players after their UCL defeat against Benfica.
The Bianconeri picked up another disappointing result in their UCL campaign as they were beaten by the Eagles 2-1. Despite taking the lead through Arkadiusz Milik, Juve were pinned back and eventually lost that tie.
It was their second defeat already in the group stage following a loss against PSG on their opening fixture. That result also meant that Juve were winless in their four consecutive matches across all competition.
There was plenty of disappointment after that UCL defeat on Wednesday, including from the club’s chiefs. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport(via Juventusnews24), Juve’s vice-president, Pavel Nedved was one of those who expressed his disappointment.
The former winger went to see the players after the final whistle and slammed their performance in that game. Nedved made sure that everyone heard what he has to say as he expressed his disappointment.
The situation is reportedly pretty tense at Juve’s camp as there’s pressure for them to immediately get back into winning ways. The Bianconeri will have the opportunity to bounce back this weekend as they face Monza in Serie A.
