Juventus’ pursuit of Atalanta forward Luis Muriel is set to face competition from Premier League side Newcastle United.
Despite having already signed Angel Di Maria, Paul Pogba, and Gleison Bremer, the Bianconeri remain active in the transfer market, particularly in their search for a backup to Dusan Vlahovic.
Massimiliano Allegri’s team has been keeping tabs on several options, including Atalanta striker Luis Muriel. The Colombian international is seen as a strong fit for Juventus’ needs.
However, negotiations with Atalanta have proven challenging, as the club demands at least €15 million for Muriel. Juventus’ reluctance to meet this valuation could allow other suitors to step in.
According to TMW (via Football Italia), Newcastle United has emerged as a serious contender for Muriel’s signature. The Magpies are eager to strengthen their squad and could soon make a move for the Colombian forward.
