Official: Juventus sign Bremer from Torino – the details

Juventus have officially announced the signing of Gleison Bremer from Torino in a deal worth €41m plus €9m in addons.

The Bianconeri’s search for a new defender have finally led them into snatching the Granata star. Despite facing tough competition from Inter, Juve managed to come up on top in the race for Bremer.

Multiple reports claim that the Nerazzurri were in pole to snatch the 25-year-old after agreeing on personal terms. However, that agreement prove worthless as Juve’s ability to present a better offer was key to the deal.

Juventus officially announced that they have signed Bremer in a deal worth €41m plus 9m (in addons). The player has also penned a five-year contract which earns him about 4m plus 1m bonuses per season.

Although it’s a pretty expensive deal, signing Bremer was important for Juve following the departures of Giorgio Chiellini and Matthijs De Ligt.

Massimiliano Allegri will most likely count on the Brazilian as his main man in defence alongside Leonardo Bonucci.

Juve have also confirmed that Bremer will be wearing the number 3 jersey, previously worn by Chiellini.
