The Juventus Primavera side are now set to hire Paolo Montero as their next manager.
Reports recently had stated that with the Bianconeri’s Primavera side looking for a new manager, the Old Lady had earmarked former player Montero as a possible candidate for the role. It now seems as if the move is edging closer.
Tuttosport have claimed that Montero is now expected to sign a deal with the Primavera side, with the contract length yet to be ascertained.
As a player, Montero made 275 appearances for the Old Lady senior team and featured for the club between 1996 and 2005. As a manager, he has managed in Italy but his only experience of managing in the country came at Serie C side Sambenedettese.
He had a brief stint at Penarol and also spent time at clubs like between Boca Unidos , Colon and Rosario Central. He also spent a stint at San Lorenzo, after he left Italy.
