Pochettino rejects Nice offer as he waits for Juventus and Inter

Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly turned down an offer from Nice, as he is keeping an eye on the situations at Juventus and Inter Milan.

The Argentine tactician, who was dismissed by PSG last summer, is patiently awaiting his next managerial opportunity. After stints at Tottenham Hotspur and PSG, Pochettino’s next destination could potentially be in Serie A.

According to multiple reports, Pochettino is among the candidates being considered for managerial roles at Juventus and Inter. Both clubs have had disappointing starts to their seasons, which could lead to changes on the bench before the campaign ends.

Footmercato (via TuttoJuve) claims that Pochettino declined Nice’s offer, preferring to wait for a chance to take over at either Juventus or Inter.

Juventus’ latest defeat to Monza has cast doubt over Massimiliano Allegri’s future, though terminating his contract would be financially challenging for the club. Similarly, Simone Inzaghi’s position at Inter is under scrutiny following their 3-1 loss to Udinese last weekend.

Pochettino’s decision suggests he may be positioning himself for a high-profile role in Italy.
