PSG boss confirms Juventus target ‘has many offers’

The future of PSG midfielder Leandro Paredes remains uncertain, with head coach Christophe Galtier confirming that the Argentine has received « many offers » to leave the club this summer.

Speaking at a press conference, Galtier stated: “Paredes’ situation is very different from that of Mauro Icardi. Leandro has many requests, and I don’t know what will happen between now and the end of the transfer market. I know he wants to play, but he remains calm.”

The coach’s comments highlight the contrast between Paredes and Mauro Icardi, PSG’s out-of-favor forward. While Icardi, previously linked to Juventus, appears content to see out his lucrative contract with the French club, Paredes seems closer to an exit.

For Juventus, acquiring Paredes would depend on first offloading one of their own midfielders—either Adrien Rabiot or Arthur Melo—to make room for the Argentine international.
