Reports from Italy indicate that Paulo Dybala’s long-awaited contract renewal with Juventus could finally be finalized next Monday or Tuesday.
The Argentinian forward’s current contract is set to expire in June 2022, but negotiations appear to have reached a positive conclusion. Both parties have reportedly agreed to a deal extending his stay until 2026, with a salary of €10 million per season, including bonuses. The only step remaining is the official announcement from the club.
According to Tuttosport (via Tuttomercatoweb), Dybala is expected to sign the extension early next week. His agent, Jorge Antun, has already booked a trip back to Turin and scheduled a meeting with Juventus’ management to finalize the agreement.
Dybala, who recently returned from injury, has wasted no time proving his value to the team. He played a crucial role in Juventus’ comeback against Inter, igniting his side’s resurgence and netting the equalizer from the penalty spot.
Despite struggling with injuries this season, the former Palermo star has managed an impressive tally of four goals and two assists in just seven appearances, highlighting his importance to the squad.
