Juventus reportedly could lose one of Federico Chiesa or Matthijs De Ligt should they fail to qualify for the Champions League next summer.
The Bianconeri have been struggling in Serie A this season with only six wins from 14 games so far. Massimiliano Allegri’s man also suffered their fifth defeat already following a 1-0 loss against Atalanta on Saturday.
They’re currently seven points behind the top four place and if things don’t improve, they might struggle to get into UCL next season. A failure to reach that competition could be a disaster for the Old Lady considering their current financial trouble.
As reported by Juventusnews24, should Juve fail to finish in the top four places at the of this season, they could lose one of Chiesa or De Ligt.
The Bianconeri certainly are not keen on losing any of their star players, but might not be able to avoid it. Both Chiesa and De Ligt have many admirers so selling one of them can help Juve cover their potential financial losses.
