Sampdoria reportedly will ask Juve to loan them, Matias Soule, as a replacement for Mohamed Ihattaren who went AWOL.
There’s still confusion regarding the situation of Ihattaren as he is not keen on returning to Italy. The Dutch international was bought by Juve this past summer but immediately went on loan to Sampdoria.
However, he is not getting any playing time and recently decided to return to his hometown in the Netherlands. Ihattaren even refused to return and reportedly might even consider retiring from football.
Both Sampdoria and Juve are trying to handle the bizarre situation and the likeliest solution is by arranging another loan. The Bianconeri could offer to give another player for the Blucerchiati as a replacement for Ihattaren.
According to Calciomercato.com, Sampdoria would gladly accept that solution and will ask for Matias Soule. The 18-year old is yet to feature for Allegri’s team in competitive matches but he is a regular for Juve’s U23 team.
Soule’s talent is highly appreciated as he recently even got a callup to Argentina national team squad for World Cup qualifiers.
