Revealed: Juve’s problem in their attempt to sell Kulusevski – the latest

Juventus are looking to sell Dejan Kulusevski already in the January transfer window but will face a problem with his valuation.

The Biaconeri bought Kulusevski for 35m plus 9m in bonuses from Atalanta back in 2020 following his successful loan move at Parma. In his first season with Juve, the Sweden international made 47 competitive appearances but was far from convincing.

Things are not getting any better this season as so far he only had 507 minutes of playing time under Massimiliano Allegri. The coach didn’t even give Kulusevski any minutes on Saturday as Juve suffered a 1-0 defeat from Atalanta.

This situation gives a strong indication that Juve are ready to let him go in the January window or next summer. However, according to Calciomercato.com (via ilbianconero.com), there’s one problem with the Old Lady’s plan to sell Kulusevski.

The issue is down to his current valuation that is dropping from the amount that Juve paid in 2020. Struggling to get a regular place in Juve’s starting lineups certainly making the winger’s value decrease.

Nevertheless, the Bianconeri are not keen on selling Kulusevski for less than what they were paying for him. Juve reportedly are only willing to sell the winger for €35m with Arsenal and Tottenham reportedly keen on him.
