Juventus midfielder Nicolo Rovella may still depart on loan before the close of the summer transfer window, as uncertainty surrounds his role in the squad for the upcoming season.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus plan to keep Rovella until the final week of the transfer window to evaluate the fitness of midfielders Paul Pogba and Weston McKennie. If both players show significant recovery progress and the team avoids further injuries in midfield, the young Italian will likely be permitted to leave on loan.
Among the clubs interested in securing Rovella’s services are Serie A newcomers Monza and Cremonese, as well as last season’s survival specialists, Salernitana. Juventus, however, are only considering a standard loan deal with no option for a permanent transfer, reflecting their belief in Rovella’s potential and his long-term importance to the club.
