Roma-Juve 3-4: player ratings – Trio flopped, Morata changed the game

Here are the ratings of Juventus players for their incredible 4-3 win against Roma.

Szczesny 8/10 – Nothing he could do to avoid Roma’s goals, saved the second penalty kick in two games vs. Roma. Amazing Tek!

Cuadrado 5.5 – Too weak when pushing forward, got a yellow card that will force him out vs. Inter in the Supercup on Thursday.

De Ligt 5 – Caused the free-kick that Lorenzo Pellegrini converted into Roma’s third goal. Most of the time, you have the feeling he is alone at the back.

Rugani 4 – Abraham jumped over him to give Roma the lead in the first half. Always so soft.

De Sciglio 6.5 – Balanced performance on both phases. Scored his second overall goal in Serie A to give Juve the three points.

McKennie 5 – Somehow assisted De Sciglio after an unconvincing performance.

Locatelli 6.5 – Put Juventus back into the game with a towering header, but the overall performance wasn’t exceptional.

Bentancur 4 – At fault for Roma’s first goal just as much as Rugani. (64’ Arthur 6.5 – Juventus were much more organized with the Brazilian on the pitch)

Dybala 7.5 – Stunning goal. He is Juventus’ most gifted player, but this isn’t something we find out tonight. (82’ Chiellini N/G)

Kean 4 – He was only noticed when he was subbed off (64’ Morata 8 – Juventus changed when he entered the pitch. The Spaniard assisted Locatelli and was involved in Kulusevski’s equaliser)

Chiesa 7 – Assisted Dybala, but sustained a knee injury after a few minutes (32’ Kulusevski 7 – Not a good impact, but scored the equaliser and fought on every ball.)

All. Allegri (Landucci on the bench) 6.5 – Juventus never, ever die.
