Roma step up interest in ‘difficult’ Dybala deal

Paulo Dybala is all-but confirmed to be leaving Juventus this summer at the end of his contract. Many clubs are interested in securing his services but one of the frequently recurring names is that of AS Roma.

The Giallorossi have got their sights firmly set on the Argentine forward, who failed to agree a new deal with the Bianconeri and will therefore be leaving at zero-cost. Roma have identified Dybala as a valuable addition to head coach Jose Mourinho’s squad and are trying to formulate their plan to sign him.

According to what has been said in the Corriere dello Sport, the Dybala hypothesis is difficult but not impossible for the Roman club. Whilst agent fees, bonuses and the contract value itself may be the major stumbling block, the passion of the fans and the star power of head coach Mourinho may be enough to help convince La Joya to join the project in the Italian capital.
